Welcome to FOCUS, a Florida Department of Education Web site offering online mini assessments for reading and math skills. Each mini assessment provides a set of valid, FCAT-like questions, plus a set of five parallel items for re-testing. Here you will find mini assessments for 5th, 7th, 8th, and 11th grade science and for all math benchmarks and reading foci for grades 3 - 10.

Students can use their FCAT Explorer sign-in name and password to begin working on the assessments. Teachers can use their FCAT Explorer sign-in name and password to enter the FOCUS Teacher's Desk, where they'll find tools to schedule and track student progress.
